Vellicate Technologies is currently looking for skilled Training Sales Professionals in the following roles. 

 

Position Title: Training Sales Executive

Reports to: Sales Manager

Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:

 

This position works under general supervision, and is responsible for generating sales and building lasting customer relationships, focusing on our public classes scheduled throughout the country and virtually. The overall goal of this position is to provide additional revenue through the sale of open seats in upcoming public classes and to provide customer service to Watermark’s existing public class students.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1. Public Class Sales

  • Working in a team environment to meet or exceed established goals
  • Sales
  • Outbound calls
  • Initiate the sales process through prospecting new students, scheduling phone appointments, developing proposals and closing on opportunities
  • Expand on sales from existing customers through the exposure of additional offerings and services and referrals from these customers
  • Partner with Account Managers (outside sales) to maximize client potential and uncover private or custom solutions
  • Prospect and close sales of bulk training credits to companies
  • Understand the business needs of clients through research and consultative questioning
  • Promote training services through online social media, trade shows and industry events
  • Provide input on sales literature to help promote public training services

 

2. Research and Development

  • Research customer business needs
  • Monitor competition

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 3+ years experience in direct business to business sales with demonstrated goal achievement
  • Ability to develop new business through prospecting and cold calling
  • Demonstrated investigative and listening skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and social media marketing skills (Facebook, Tweeter, Linkedin)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to grasp the big picture and also attend to the details
